Jean Charles is the tragic true story of Jean Charles de Menezes, the innocent Brazilian shot dead by British police in 2005 at the height of the London terrorist alerts.
Goldman’s vibrant storytelling and the experienced Brazilian movie star Selton Mello drive us with perfection into the world of Jean Charles. Another aspect that stands out and deserves special mentioning: the charismatic performance rendered by Luis Miranda, who is impeccable as Alex.
The film will be presented by the director with a Q&A after the screening.
